London Buses route 102

London Buses route 102 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Brent Cross bus station and Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, it is operated by Arriva London.
==History==
The history of this route has seen many changes. In 1934, the route ran from Chingford to Muswell Hill, but today operates between Brent Cross bus station and Edmonton Green Shopping Centre on a 24-hour service. Three years later it replaced route 27/27A via Fortis Green by being extended to the Archway, and was diverted at East Finchley via route 58 to Golders Green in 1940.
In November 1988, the route was diverted at Edmonton to Edmonton Green. 102A covered the section to Chingford for only two weeks before being replaced by a diversion of the 144 (now 444). In 1991, saw a final change in the route, which was an extension to Brent Cross in place of a route which was being withdrawn from service (26). Route 326 replaced this route, running to Brent Cross via Hendon instead of Golders Green.
When Arriva London commenced a new contract on 1 September 2007, route 102 was converted to 24-hour service, although it only operates between Golders Green station and Edmonton Green Shopping Centre.〔(Bus tender results Route 102 ) Transport for London 3 May 2007〕 In March 2008, Alexander Dennis Enviro400s entered service. Upon being re-tendered, the route was retained by Arriva London with a new contract commencing on 8 November 2014.〔(Tender News ) ''Bus Talk'' (Go-Ahead London) issue 29 August 2014〕
